[Spoilers are ahead, so fair warning to all those who have yet to read this issue.]

In the newest issue, the showdown between the Rangers and Kiya is preparing to enter the final climax. This issue from Boom Studios gives us a good look at the preparation skills all the Rangers have in their possession. So let’s dive in!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #48 Highlights

Issue #48 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, “Necessary Evil,” begins as Kiya and her group follow the path made by the Morphin masters to destroy the Rangers once and for all. They then run into Dayne who seems to be following Kiya, but may have his own plan in the works to usurp whatever weapon they may find. Simultaneously on Earth, the remaining Rangers including Jason, Billy, Kimberly, and Tommy, wonder what happened to the Rangers in space. This leads to Billy leaving to get some needed help outside of the command center from Promethea leader, Grace.

Meanwhile, the Rangers in space including Zach, Adam, Rocky, Trini, and Aisha, and Xi, are trying to recover from an attack made by one of Kiya’s hunters. As they work out a plan, we get a nod back to the show as Trini tells Rocky and Aisha to use Jetting. Jetting was mentioned in the second season and though it was used rarely, it’s nice to see it mentioned again.
