Anime and gaming lovers just got another look at the new anime adaption of Cygames’ 2018 smartphone game. The new series will be titled Princess Connect! Re-Dive, and we’re now getting more details of how funny and lovely it’s going to be. From the looks of it, the idea of this series will be following the original smartphone video game as well.

What Is Princess Connect! About?
Get ready for a little backstory about the game. Princess Connect! Re:Dive is an RPG game that was original released in Japan on Feb 15, 2018 as a sequel. The original game was called Princess Connect, and it was released on Feb 15, 2015 but ended its service in June of 2016. The game was available on Android and iOS.
In this particular series, there’s going to be a little twist in store. The story is going to be driven by the protagonist, who discovers once he wakes up that he is no longer in the real world. Instead, he’s now in a fantasy land with no memories of who he is. In order to make it through, he needs assistance in figuring out the surrounding land – which he can only get by meeting the princesses in question. The girls plan to help him through his adventure.
