The new Stargirl trailer gives a first look at the members of the Injustice Society.

Stargirl Broadening the Live-Action DC Canvas

Stargirl’s Injustice Society includes Brainwave, a metahuman with psionic powers which gives him the ability to control people with his mind. Tigress and Sportsman who both look like impressive fighters (in the comics they are married so it’ll be interesting to see if that is also true on Stargirl).

Sportsman treats his crimes as a game and sees competitors as targets to be eliminated. Tigress is a criminal who hunts people for a living. Wizard, a magic user and master of deception and illusion. In the promo, he is using a wand which might be the Wand of Glastonbury used by Wizard at the height of his power in the comics.

Solomon Grundy DC Comics Stargirl

Solomon Grundy is an undead villain with super strength and stamina with a certain level of invulnerability which seems clear from the fact that in the promo he gets hit with a car. Grundy looks especially impressive as he appears to be an entirely CGI interpretation of the villain.

Icicle who looks like he can manipulate ice and even turns into ice when using his powers. And the masked Dragon King, an evil scientist doing experiments not only on his victims, but also himself using the mask to cover up his experimentation.

The villains who killed the original Justice Society ten years ago will have to face a new group of heroes taking on the moniker formed by Courtney who will take on the mantel of Stargirl. The new Justice Society will include not only Courtney and Pat, but a number of her new friends from Blue Valley High. This includes Yolanda Montez as Wildcat, Beth Chapel as Doctor Mid-Nite, and Rick Tyler as Hourman. A number of their classmates are also the children of the Injustice Society including Henry King Jr. Brainwave’s son and Cindy Burman the daughter of Dragon King.

An earlier trailer shows more scenes of the Injustice Society as well as Stargirl suiting up and her new team facing off against the powerful villains.
