DC Sets Batman Day For September 19

DC Comics sets the date for Batman Day, a virtual even that will unite fans all over: taking place on September 19.

The Dark Knight is coming, as Batman Day fast approaches.

The Batman might do his best work in the shadows, but it looks like his fans and creators are set to celebrate all the work he has done. DC Comics has announced that Batman Day will happen on September 19, and will be a virtual event. The house that Batman built will be partnering up with other companies to promote the event.

Some of the special perks on that day will be the ability to ride on Waze with a “Batman and The Riddler” and will let fans listen to DC super hero or villain playlists on Spotify. Other perks will be free digital comics and free activities for kids. There will also be  virtual Batman 5K and 10K walks.

The celebration will also bring incredible elements that will satisfy the caped crusader in all of us. The Waze app will add a Batman theme that will give users of the driving app the opportunity to hear Kevin Conroy, voice of Batman from The Animated Series voice directions.

If you are wanting a villainous turn, though, then look no further than Wally Wingert, who will voice The Riddler. Here are some of the other Batman theme events happening as well

• Experience Batman : visit the website BatmanDay.com will give awesome new activities to embark on such as do it yourself cape and cowls, how to make bat signals and much more.

• Batman 5K/10K run: happening today, Participants can run a race day or night (Safely though), when registered you can get a slew of Batman swag such as pullovers, finisher medals, hats and more. For more info, check out dcbatmanrun.com

• DC Universe Online : The game will be including a new Batwing form change which will be free to everyone and a aura based on Riddler from the 14th to the 20th

HBO Max will be celebrating the dark knight with a Batman takeover on the DC hub of the app from the 18th to 19th and Cartoon network international will host specials themed programs in the month. There will be many more surprises and goodies for Batman fans worldwide as we move closer to the special day.
