The Mandalorian Season 2 Finally Gets a Release Date

Disney+ and Lucasfilm set the premiere date for The Mandalorian as October 30, but will Star Wars fans get one episode then or more?

2020 has been a long and taxing year, but there is something to get excited about on the horizon. This morning, Lucasfilm announced the debut date of The Mandalorian Season 2!

Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Company put the internet on notice that Season Two will debut on October 30th, 2020. They revealed the good news in an official tweet from the Star Wars Twitter page, as seen below:

The Mandalorian’s Reunion with Baby Yoda Is Almost Here

Could this mean Disney+ subscribers will be getting the first two episodes, rather than just one, on that date? When Season One released in November of last year, the first two episodes were dropped only a few days apart – followed by new episodes on a week to week basis.

This time out we might be getting two in the same day. Frankly, we deserve it after the year we’ve had!

The Mandalorian Season One was met with critical acclaim and 15 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama!

From all the news circulating about The Mandalorian Season Two, it looks like it is going to be one for the books. With Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Captain Rex, Bo-Katan Kryze and Cobb Vanth from the Aftermath novels all set to make appearances, the storytelling is will be expanding to include multiple avenues of the Star Wars lore! Plus, more Moff Gideon and the darksaber, Baby Yoda growing to be attuned in the Force, and Mando hopefully get some more sweet armor upgrades!

How excited is everyone for the upcoming season of The Mandalorian? I think it is safe to say the trailer is right around the corner!
