Recently official images from Power Rangers Dino Fury have been released showing Power Rangers alum Kelson Henderson returning to the show as Mick Kanic from Power Rangers Ninja Steel. While it’s currently unclear to what extent the character will be returning, most fans have assumed that Mick will once again be the mentor for this new team of rangers.
This has led fans like myself to go back to the season’s Super Sentai source material (Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger) and compare Mick with that season’s mentor character. If Dino Fury follows in Ryusoulger’s footsteps, fans of Kelson Henderson could be in for a real treat!
Will Mick Suit Up Again As Dino Fury Brown?
As fans will already know, Mick was already a ranger for a short period of time in Power Rangers Ninja Steel when he suited up as one of the additional Red Rangers. Now it is being speculated whether or not it will happen again in Power Rangers Dino Fury.
This also makes sense as the Brown Ranger in Dino Fury’s source material (Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger) was also the team’s mentor. With Mick being speculated to have the same role to this team it definitely seems possible for him to eventually become the Brown Ranger.

One problem fans may have with this theory is the fact that Ryusoul Brown only shows up in one episode of the Sentai season. I don’t think this will be an issue; however, because Blaze’s suit in Beast Morphers Season 1 was also only used in one episode of that Sentai season. Despite this, Blaze was featured throughout the entirety of Beast Morphers Season 1 in that form.
Regardless the thought of Kelson Henderson potentially suiting up once again has me incredibly excited! How awesome would it be to have the first Orange Ranger (yes I know it was a just dream sequence okay, let me have this one) go on to become the franchise’s first Brown Ranger as well!
