Lucky Charms has transformed into Loki Charms and we know how to get you a box of the new cereal.
With Marvel Studios’ most dashing trickster Loki getting a series all to himself in the coming days, it makes perfect sense that company tie-ins would follow. Specifically, longstanding cereal overlord General Mills is releasing a special brand of their Lucky Charms cereal called “Loki Charms”.
Do You Want A Box of Loki Charms?
3,500 boxes will be sold over mischeviouslydelicious.com at $8 a pop (a price that thankfully includes shipping) starting at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 9. Even better, once you’ve obtained Loki Charms, you’ll be able to watch Loki’s first episode on Disney Plus while eating them! (Athough you can still watch Loki’s first episode if you don’t get the cereal).
Like Willy Wonka’s golden tickets, I’m sure Marvel fans, Tom Hiddleston fans, and cereal enthusiasts, are rejoicing and waiting for the clock to strike 11:00 AM tomorrow. However, like the titular trickster, the company had something extra up its sleeve last weekend. They released a puzzle for 1,000 fans that, once solved, would give them early access to Loki Charms before they went on sale. Of course, the cereal will also see store shelves, but it may be pricier.
LOKI TRAILER AND SYNOPSIS
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new Disney+ series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
