Partnering with Marvel, Gearbox, and individual celebrities wasn’t enough for Epic Games’ Fortnite. It now appears that Adult Swim’s Rick & Morty is getting the same treatment as its slew of powerful predecessors.
Fortnite has teased new content and front and center is the alcoholic Rick Sanchez while he and a bunch of other characters stare on as a large alien ship flies over the island.
Butter Robot, Rick & Morty, and Fortnite
On Twitter, the game’s social media shared two tweets, one showing off Rick’s Butter Robot, which can do nothing except for pass butter, and a pair of glasses, taking a jab at heroes like Superman, which can wear glasses as his means of keeping his secret identity intact.

The synopsis for the Fortnite Season 7 is pretty straightforward yet vague, declaring: “They came without warning, their intentions were unclear. But what’s clear now is that a war has come to the Island.”
