The official trailer of Snowpiercer Season 3 reveals the world is warming and there is a possibility of life beyond the train.

TNT’s top cable drama series, Snowpiercer, is making its third revolution in a little over two weeks. Picking up after the events of Season 2, Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) along with a core group of survivors have received Melanie’s (Jennifer Connely) research and now have a map showing potentially habitable locations around the planet. Now Layton and his group have to reconnect with Snowpiercer in order to share the news and give the last survivors of humanity a chance at life beyond the train.

Snowpiercer Season 3 Official Trailer

Season 3 looks to continue the show’s eclectic blend of drama, action, and politics. Layton and the crew on the 10-car pirate train not only have to face the challenge of getting back to Snowpiercer, but they also will have to face the power Wilford (Sean Bean) is amassing in their absence. The hope and data of a world beyond the train may not be enough to pull the people away from their savior who many have come to deify. Plus with knowledge of the movie, which takes place nearly a decade after the series, it is very hard to believe they succeed.

However, the show was renewed for a Season 4, so it is assured that the story will continue. And as we’ve seen with Josie (Katie McGuinness) and supposed survivor of the frozen apocalypse, Asha (Archie Panjabi), the cold does not guarantee death. With at least two seasons of the show left, this could mean Melanie survives, and her life could change everything. The confirmation of the 4th Season and official Season 3 information is cause for great excitement in terms of Melanie’s fate and the story yet to unfold.
