The Boys Presents: Diabolical delivers a delicious new teaser and reveals some of the incredible voice talents of the series.
The Boys are bringing their Emmy-Nominated-take on the superhero genre to the animated medium with The Boys Presents: Diabolical (Diabolical) exclusively on Prime Video on March 4, 2022. All eight episodes of the animated anthology will be released together. In celebration and anticipation, of the sure-to-be glorious day, Prime Video has released a new teaser for the series.
The Boys Presents: Diabolical Teaser
The Diabolical teaser showcases, and teases, the upcoming madness the anthology series is poised to bring. The seamless blend of the different animation styles is truly fantastic. Then to use such artistry used to render three Homelanders make out with each other, is unquestionably a god-tier level of art. Something about immense talent used to make ridiculous jokes and poignant commentary is always very appealing.

On top of the glimpses of the animation, the characters to be featured, like Picante Balls and Laser Baby, we also get a featured list of the voice talent we can expect from Diabolical. The list is talent is thoroughly epic. The names revealed are Awkwafina, Michael Cera, Don Cheadle, Chace Crawford, Kieran Culkin, Giancarlo Esposito, Eliot Glazer, Jason Isaacs, Kumail Nanjiani, Justin Roiland, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Ben Schwartz, Elisabeth Shue, Christian Slater, Kevin Smith, Antony Starr, Nasim Pedrad, Simon Pegg, Kenan Thompson, Aisha Tyler, and Oscar-winner Youn Yuh Jung.
Additional names will be revealed at a later date. What is interesting is that several cast members of The Boys are on the list. This likely means their characters will be featured in this series as well. Eric Kripke has already confirmed the series is canon to the universe, which means all the mishaps and shenanigans may have an effect on The Boys. At the very least, it will likely get a reference.
The Boys Presents: Diabolical will premiere all eight episodes of the animated anthology series on March 4, 2022, exclusively on Prime Video. The fun-size episodes all have a run time of 12-14 minutes each, as well as their own animation style. Each episode will reveal unseen stories within The Boys‘ universe. The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson and was developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke.
