The Lost City tickets are now available with a Fandango Premiere Event the weekend before.

Originally titled The Lost City of D, Paramount Pictures’ The Lost City will be coming exclusively to theaters on March 25, 2022. The film stars Sandra Bullock as Loretta Sage, an exotic novel writer whose latest book leads an eccentric billionaire, played by Daniel Radcliffe, to believe the treasure from her latest novel is real. While promoting her book with her cover model Alan, Channing Tatum, Loretta is kidnapped by the billionaire to lead him to the treasure. Alan, wanting to prove he can be like the character he portrays on the covers, attempts to rescue her. See how that goes in the scene below.

The Lost City “Day 2: Leeches Scene”

Day 2 of filming, Tatum gets naked with leeches attached to his butt. The films seems like a comedic gold mine. Bullock and Tatum are hilarious comedic actors as evident with the Miss Congeniality and 21 Jump Street titles on their resumes. Not to mention the countless other films that highlight their abilities in romance and comedy. Throw in some Daniel Radcliffe magic, and I’m talking about Guns Akimbo and Now You Seem Me 2 Radcliffe, and you got a trifecta worth the price of admission.

That’s not even considering the premise of the film and the additional cast. A reclusive writer forced to live out the adventure she makes up, a cover model hunk who means well with zero know-how, and a crazy billionaire who can’t tell fiction from non-fiction makes for an interesting story that is a nice change of pace from the franchises that rule the theaters. Round out the cast with Pattie Harrison, Oscar Nunez, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Brad Pitt and it’s hard to bet that this won’t be a modern comedy classic. You can see almost everybody in the character posters below.

The Lost City has everything going for it. It seems like a rom-com National Treasure, which are things a lot of people tend to love, even if they won’t admit it. Great cast, outrageous premise, and the trailers are good without giving away too much. If the “Leech Scene” is any indication, the chemistry between Bullock and Tatum seems to have be tried and tested already too. We could be looking at the year’s great rom-com.

The Lost City releases exclusively in theaters on March 25, 2022 with a special Fandango Premiere March 19, 2022.
