On National Panda Day, Jack Black took to TikTok to make a Kung Fu Panda announcement that would bring about PANDA-MONIUM!.
Check it out below:
Kung Fu Panda Is Back And Better Than Ever
Let the news ring far and wide because the beloved butt kicking panda is back! Jack Black announced that he will be reprising his role as the Kung Fu Panda, Po, in the animated series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
Coming to Netflix sometime in the future, this will mark the third TV series from the Kung Fu Panda franchise. The only difference is, that this will be the first series to have Jack Black, the originator of Po. Mick Wingert took over for Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness for Nickelodeon, and Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny for Prime Video. Black’s last turn as our favorite panda, was in 2016 when Kung Fu Panda 3 was released.
Here is the synopsis of what fans can expect.
When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.
Of course DreamWorks Animation is leading the animation, while Peter Hastings and Shaunt Nigoghossian will be executive producers. As well as Chris Amick and Ben Mekler joining as co-executive producers.
While tomorrow might be a mystery, you can still gift yourself a reminder for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight today by checking out Netflix.
