The Merc With a Mouth is coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns. 2K Games, Firaxis Games, and Marvel Entertainment released a new trailer this week for the game’s first post-launch DLC, The Good, the Bad, and The Undead. The new DLC features the addition of Deadpool as a recruitable character for the tactical RPG.

You can check out the official trailer for the upcoming DLC, which brings Deadpool to the game, below:

DEADPOOL ARRIVES IN NEW DLC FOR MARVEL’S MIDNIGHT SUNS

The Good, the Bad, and the Undead DLC is available as a standalone purchase or part of the Season Pass for Midnight Suns players, which is also included in the Legendary Edition. Each DLC will add a new recruitable hero into the game, along with three new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and new skins and outfits for the hero.

Of course, Deadpool is not your average hero. In Midnight Suns, players will have access to Deadpool’s unique, new abilities and his signature brand of chaos. Players will also be able to build Friendship using Deadpool and become best friends with the antihero in the Abbey. The DLC also adds new enemy types into the story missions.

Players will also be able to develop Deadpool’s Research project, Food Truck, which can give them a tactical edge on the battlefield. The new cosmetics for Deadpool also look hilarious. There’s Deadpool wearing a pointy witch hat, wearing a speedo, and some more Casual Friday-type clothes, but Deadpool style.

To access Deadpool in the new DLC, the antihero is recruitable after completing the new “A Man of Culture” mission. The new story missions will be available after completing the “Spidermaaaans” mission and Spidey unmasks in the Abbey during the first act.

It’s great to Deadpool back in a new Marvel video game. It’s equally great to see Nolan North once again voicing the character. He first voiced the character in animation in the 2009 Hulk vs. Wolverine animated movie, and he’s been a fan-favorite in the role since that time. He also voiced the character in the highly underrated 2013 Deadpool videogame, developed by High Moon Studios.

The trailer itself is also a lot of fun and incorporates the typical Deadpool, fourth-wall-breaking, meta-humor style. It even jokes that they didn’t have the budget to animate Deadpool’s character model without his mask. The Deadpool comedic scenes look like a lot of fun and something that will entice players who want more of the Marvel experience in Midnight Suns.

The addition of Deadpool’s food truck also looks hilarious. It should be fun to see how the food truck will come in handy during battle sequences within the gameplay experience.
