When it comes to Transformers, the Studio Series line has been one of the most widely regarded toy lines ever produced for the Transformers films.
The Studio Series line, a line dedicated to offering cheap and affordable action figures to children and adult collectors with the most film-accurate depictions in toy form, has become one of the most popular lines. Now, approaching 100 figures, including toys from all six live-action films and even a subline dedicated to the cult-classic 1986 animated film, Hasbro has steadily revealed figures depicting characters from the upcoming “Rise of the Beasts”.
The Studio Series figure classes
Before I continue, I feel like I should introduce you to the size classes that Hasbro has been using for each main-line Transformers toys.
First, is the cheapest and smallest toys, the “Core Class”. These figures cost anywhere from $9 to $12, depending on where you find them. Introduced in 2022 with the Transformers: War for Cybertron – Kingdom line, the Core Class has included main characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave as well as other characters such as the Transformers: Legacy character “Iguanus”, based on the 1990s Pretender of the same name.

Second, is the most common toy, the “Deluxe Class”. Deluxe Class is normally reserved for the smaller Transformers seen on screen, with Bumblebee being one of the most prolific of the Transformers to receive constant Deluxe Class toys, stemming all the way back to 2007 when the Deluxe Class became mostly available. Deluxe Class has jumped in price, but is normally between the prices of $15 to $25.
Next, is the “Voyager Class”. Voyagers are reserved for the medium-sized Transformers. Most common are Optimus Prime and Megatron with their respective seconds-in-command, Ironhide and Starscream. Their prices have largely remained the same at around $30 to $35.
Next, is the “Leader Class”, used prominently in the leaders of each faction or the largest (or, in most recent aspects, the characters with the most amount of accessories). Leader Class toys have included Optimus and Megatron, but most recently the line has seen the inclusion of the Dinobots. Leaders cost anywhere from $45 to $55.
After that is the “Commander Class”. Commander Class are reserved for legitimately massive figures, such as the Autobot Flyer Jetfire (who included accessories to help him resemble his original Generation One figure) and the Decepticon Combiner Motormaster, leader of the Stunticons (currently available within the Transformers: Legacy toyline). Commanders have gone from $80 to $90.
Last but not least is the “Titan Class”. Reserved for truly gigantic figures. Titans such as Omega Supreme, Scorponok, and Metroplex have seen recent releases as Titans. Titan class figures are known to be the most expensive main-line Transformers figures with their prices exceeding $150 regularly.
Now that you have an idea for what the figures will cost, let me introduce you the actual figures going forward.
Studio Series Core Class
TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS – CORE CLASS “ARCEE”
ARCEE (Voiced in the film by Liza Koshy) converts into the Ducati 916 Motorcycle mode she acquires in the film. Arcee represents one of the most popular and foremost female Transformers in the franchise. The character was originally introduced in The Transformers: The Movie in 1986, voiced by Susan Blu, and became a romantic interest in the third season of The Transformers.
The Core Class Figure takes several liberties with the design to incorporate the on-screen appearance of the figure.
TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS – CORE CLASS: TERRORCON FREEZER
FREEZER is one of the film’s newest character additions. Without any previous incarnations or any confirmed voice actor or actress, Freezer is hard to decipher. Though his potential role in the film isn’t, with the toy’s description and first look at today’s Hasbro Pulse Livestream showing off his alternate mode as a weapon accessory for LEADER CLASS SCOURGE (see below). Combined with his name, its possible Freezer is the Transformer equivalent of the Transformers: Prime and Generation One weapon “The Immobilizer”, which freezes a Transformer in place.

DELUXE CLASS RISE OF THE BEASTS BUMBLEBEE
We all know BUMBLEBEE. This time appearing as he did in the 2007 movie blended with his appearance in his solo outing, Bumblebee turns into his offroad upgrade of the 1970s Chevrolet Camaro. Since this is Bumblebee, we all know what his role is going to be in the upcoming film. Being the most overused Transformer in the entire series, Bee is likely going to be the kid-appeal character once again, but is going to be taking a backseat story-wise to Optimus Prime if the trailer is anything to go off of.

AIRRAZOR returns to the forefront of Transformers, this time making the leap from CGI to live-action, with the voice of an Oscar-Nominated performance in Michelle Yeoh. Airrazor, a female Maximal, turns into a Peregrine Falcon and utilizes the same engineering seen in the Transformers: War For Cybertron – Kingdom Deluxe Class Airrazor figure released in 2020. VOYAGER CLASS RISE OF THE BEASTS BATTLETRAP
BATTLETRAP is the first of the three main Terrorcon cast to be revealed and released. The toy represents one of the older characters who has largely been forgotten by Transformers fans in recent years, with the original Generation One toy being what was referred to as a “Duocon”, a Decepticon that formed from two individual toys into one robot. While the film seems to have dropped this aspect of the character, its been replaced by a brute looking to destroy everything in his path. Voiced by Transformers alumni David Sovolov (Shockwave in Transformers: Prime, Blitzwing in Bumblebee (2018), and Depth Charge in Beast Wars: Transformers), Battletrap will be one to watch out for.
