Video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Europe S.A.S. announced today that five years after its first release, the critically acclaimed Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition joins the Microsoft platform, launching today for Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. Developed by LEVEL-5, the game is a result of the collaboration between two Studio Ghibli legends: animator and graphic designer Yoshiyuki Momose, who worked on character design, and world-famous music composer Joe Hisaishi.
Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition tells the story of Evan Pettwhisker Tildrum, whose promised throne of Ding Dong Dell was lost in a coup. The young Evan and his friends set sail on a journey to establish a new kingdom and unite the world under the reign of happiness.
Players will be able to discover the endearing story of Evan and play the two DLC included in the Prince’s Edition: The Lair of the Lost Lord, and The Tales of a Timeless Tome. Both contain new quests on which the young hero and his friends embark, as well as new items, equipment, and one dungeon each: Labyrinth and Solosseum Slog.
