Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger Dino Brace Memorial Edition has been fully unveiled as the scheduled release date has been revealed. The 27th Super Sentai series is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the upcoming movie Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger 20th: The Unforgivable Fury, which will feature the returning cast and a brand-new power-up mode. All features for the Memorial Edition Changer from the dinosaur-themed series have been highlighted for the release from Premium Bandai, including lines from the cast and compatibility with the new movie Dino Plate.

Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger premiered in 2003 as the 27th Super Sentai series featuring a dinosaur theme. The series concluded with 50 episodes in 2004, but the team returned in many events including crossovers with Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, and even a special with other Dino teams in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters: Dinosaur Great Battle! Farewell, Eternal Friends. The latest movie celebrates its 20th anniversary and follows the 20th-anniversary anniversary movie released for its predecessor, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. Shout! Factor recently released the complete series of the iconic Sentai for fans outside of Japan to enjoy on DVD with English Subtitles.
Abaranger Dino Brace Memorial Edition
The Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger Dino Brace Memorial Edition will feature the iconic Changer with all three Dino Plates. The new version of the Dino Brace includes new dialogue and BGM buttons with modes for each hero depending on the plate used, including Abare Red, Abare Blue, and Abare Yellow. The Memorial Edition also features a brand-new model and coloring that allows a greater show accuracy. Lines from the cast are included in the release including all 5 Rangers, Emiri Sanjyou, and the three Bakuryuu Dinosaurs.

The characters featured in the Memorial Edition include Ryoga Hakua (played by Kôichirô Nishi), Yukito Sanjo (played by Shô Tomita), Ranru Itsuki (played by Aiko Ito), Asuka (played by Kaoru Abe), Mikoto Nakadai (played by Kôtarô Tanaka), Emiri Sanjyou (Michi Nishijima), Tyrannosaurus Rex (Takashi Nagashima), Triceratops (Koki Miyata), and Pteranodon (Emi Shinohara). The changer will also feature a 5-person simultaneous transformation mode featuring all members of the team. 3 BGM songs will also be included and will be compatible with the Super Abare Max Plate released with the physical release of the movie.
This is the perfect chance to obtain a significant Changer that fans have loved from the 27th Sentai series and its Power Rangers counterpart. With the release of the Abaranger DVD from Shout! Factory, more fans will love the show-accurate features of this Memorial Edition release. It’s fantastic that it will also be compatible with the Super Abare Max plate as seen for past movie exclusives paired with Memorial Edition Changers, but fans are likely hoping to also obtain the other 2 Changers belonging to Abare Black and Abare White. Fans should obtain this before it’s too late as this will help complete any collection with amazing features included.
Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger Dino Brace Memorial Edition is scheduled to release in February 2024 in Japan. With Pre-orders now live at various Tokusatsu stores.
The Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger 20th: The Unforgivable Abare theatrical release in Japan premieres on September 1, 2023, and is scheduled for release on Blu-ray and DVD during March 2024. This physical release will be the only way to obtain the Super Dino Plate that is compatible with the Memorial Edition Changer, which unlocks the Super Abare Max mode.
