That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus begins a new chapter for Rimuru as the latest release continues the story. The new 3-episode anime installment features a new location and places a highlight on recently debuted characters. Crunchyroll has unleashed the mini-series simultaneously and even features characters previously seen during Season 2 and the first movie. Along with new characters, a spotlight has been placed on Vampire Demon Lord Luminus and the Primordial Demon, Violet.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has excited fans for the next installment as the franchise celebrates its 10th anniversary. Finally, after the release of the 1st movie, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond, a new chapter will soon start for fans to dive into. The 3rd Season of the anime series is the latest upcoming release, which is coming in 2024. A teaser for the new season has revealed that the new season will be released in Spring 2024, with the new three-part OVA bridging events together.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus Explores a New Kingdom
Crunchyroll has aired all three episodes of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus. The simulcast was revealed for fans to enjoy as of October 31, 2023, which featured Rimuru as he investigates the race for the throne in the Kingdom of Coleus. The slime will encounter new characters and even Demon Lord Luminus, with Violet also reappearing after her debut in the 1st movie. Rimuru will also be joined by his friends for the first spy mission that will find them uncovering a web of schemes formed by both demons and vampires.

Rimuru has saved the children he was teaching in the Kingdom of Engrassia, and his time as a teacher is nearly over. Then Yuuki, Grandmaster of the Free Union, asks him to get to the bottom of the race for the throne in the Kingdom of Coleus, which is located between Engrassia and the Holy Empire of Lubelius. So Rimuru infiltrates Coleus under the name “Satoru,” and he finds a nation at the mercy of not only a battle for succession but a web of schemes woven by demons and vampires!
This is an exciting new installment that has been a long wait as the first movie was released in January outside of Japan. Finally, fans will get a new story that will allow fresh characters to gain a bigger role in events. With Season 3 nearing, there is a lot of content expected to come soon after such a quiet period, but the 10th anniversary could bring even more fruit to keep fans happy till spring. For now, this 3-episode OVA will be a wonderful new chapter to dive into as fans await more news regarding the next release.
