LEGO has just unveiled the granddaddy of all LEGO playsets. It’s a new LEGO Avengers Tower playset based on Avengers Tower in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with some incredible bonuses. This set comes in at a whopping 5,201 pieces, along with a cool Kevin Feige LEGO minifigure

LEGO UNVEILS A MASSIVE AVENGERS TOWER PLAYSET

The LEGO Avengers Tower playset is available to pre-order now on LEGO’s website. The set currently costs $499.99, and it’s expected to ship later this month, just in time for the holiday shopping season. This monumental build-and-display set for adult collector enthusiasts can recreate memorable scenes from the MCU, and it’s also packed with classic characters.

The set stands at over 35.5 inches (90 cm) tall. Also, one side of the building and the roof are able to lift off to enable and allow easy access to the interior, where various details and accessories will reward fans with evocative movie references.

The set will also include a Leviathan, a Quinjet, and two Chitauri flying chariots from the films. Also, a digital version of the set’s building instructions will be available on the LEGO Builder app, along with a printed booklet.

LEGO Avengers Tower - 9 - quinjet

This will be an immersive model-making LEGO set primarily for adults and offering them a one-of-a-kind experience. So fans can feel a sense of satisfaction after spending over $500 and spending hours making this and putting it together. Here are some of the additional features for the set:

  • 31 minifigures, including Iron Man, Wong, Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Nick Fury, War Machine, Vision, Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff, and The Wasp.
  • There are also minifgures of other MCU characters, including Alexander Pierce, and even a security officer representing Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige.
  • Every floor of the playset also recreates scenes from the film, including Loki’s scepter in the lab, Captain America fighting himself on the glass walkways from Avengers: Endgame, and the Quinjet launching from its hangar.
  • It’s also loaded with accessories straight out of the films, such as the Tesseract, Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, and the Captain Marvel pager.
  • Besides the digital instructions booklet on the LEGO Builder app, people who buy the version will be able to have access to a digital version of the playset as well.

You can also check out more images of the new playset in the gallery below, showing all the figures and levels of this massive beauty in its full glory:

This set looks amazing and massive beyond belief. Even at $500, it looks like that’s a massive value, with all the figures and accessories whoever buys it is getting. Obviously, that’s a very expensive asking price. This is clearly a set that will mainly be for hardcore adult collectors. The marketing material emphasizes that this is primarily for adults. Though I’m sure some enthusiastic and younger LEGO fans would have fun building this with their adult parents or relatives as well.

In total, it comes with 31 minifigures, plus a Quinjet, two Chitaru vehicles, and a Leviathan creature. Not to mention, the authentic Avengers Tower. Not to mention the tower has removable sides to create different scenes and displays within, so it looks like it will be a fun, versatile set. This truly looks like it will be the ultimate toy release for the holidays if you can afford it that is.
