Director James Wan and Jason Momoa return in the much-awaited sequel to the highest-grossing DC film of all time, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The film, set to open in theaters internationally on December 20, 2023, and in North America on December 22, 2023, promises to be an epic continuation of the Aquaman saga.

The sequel sees the return of Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is more determined than ever to avenge his father’s death. Armed with the powerful Black Trident, Black Manta unleashes an ancient force, setting the stage for an epic showdown with Aquaman.

Jason Momoa reprises his role as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, now juggling his responsibilities as the King of Atlantis and a new father. The film also sees the return of Patrick Wilson as Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna. Dolph Lundgren and Randall Park are back as King Nereus and Dr. Stephen Shin, respectively.

Synopsis
