What is One Punch Man about?
One Punch Man is a superhero anime and manga series that originated as a webcomic created by the artist who goes by the pseudonym ONE.
The webcomic gained popularity, leading to the creation of a more polished manga illustrated by Yusuke Murata and has subsequently been adapted into an anime series.
The story is set in a world where various monsters and villains threaten the peace, and heroes emerge to protect humanity. The Hero Association ranks heroes based on their abilities and contributions to society.
One Punch Man is known for its satirical take on the superhero genre. It explores themes of power, purpose, and the consequences of overwhelming strength. The series often parodies traditional superhero tropes and tackles the existential crisis faced by a hero who has become too powerful.
The anime adaptation has also been well-received for its animation quality and faithful adaptation of the source material, so the game has a lot to live up to.
