USUAL JUNE SHOWCASES A GRAPHIC-NOVEL INSPIRED STORY
Usual June looks to have a pretty impressive development pedigree working on the new project. The new action-adventure game comes from Overland and Canabelt dev Adam Saltsman and is produced in collaboration with the narrative team at Sweet Baby Inc. (Alan Wake 2, God of War Ragnarok, and Spider-Man 2).
In the upcoming game, players take the role of the young college student June, a young woman who can talk to ghosts, who she also hangs out with as her new best friends. June will also have to defend herself from the strange creatures and try to uncover the deepest mysteries of a Midwest city before it’s too late.
The game will feature frantic, flexible combat, and a witty cast for both the living humans and the supernatural undead characters. It will also involve an original conspiracy story that is described as “equal parts terrifying, funny, and sweet.” The game will feature a graphic-novel-inspired storyline in an immersive 3D game world.
