The upcoming feature showcases a new adventure starring the Forger family as they go on their first family vacation together. But they soon get embroiled in a plot that means they are the ones who have to save the world. This will be a standalone adventure set within the anime series’ ongoing story. Crunchyroll also released some new key art for the upcoming North American theatrical release, which you can view below:

Besides the North American release, the film will also be distributed in Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, and select countries in Europe, including Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

Fans of the hit show have probably been waiting for this news for a while. It’s good to see that the film will have an English-dubbed format available to maintain cohesion with fans who have been watching the episodic show dubbed on Crunchyroll as well. Hopefully, this will be the first of multiple big-screen adventures for the Forger.

Crunchyroll and Sony’s strategy of releasing anime features such as this has been paying off in dividends in recent years. February will also see the theatrical release of Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training theatrical event. Anime movies such as this being more accessible to fans in theaters in North America now are great to see. Hopefully, it’s a trend that will continue for the foreseeable future.
