Dive into the chaos of Pandora with the BORDERLANDS official trailer!
Borderlands

As anticipation skyrockets for the worldwide debut of the Borderlands movie, Lionsgate has just unveiled the official trailer, setting the stage for what promises to be an explosive cinematic adaptation of the beloved 2K video game franchise. Directed by Eli Roth and featuring a galaxy of stars including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, and Jamie Lee Curtis, Borderlands is poised to bring the chaotic world of Pandora to life like never before.

A Universe of Chaos

Set on Pandora, a planet that knows no order, the Borderlands film follows Lilith (played by Cate Blanchett), a notorious bounty hunter with a clouded past, as she’s drawn back to the place she’s been avoiding. Tasked with locating the lost daughter of the universe’s mightiest magnate, Atlas (Edgar Ramírez), Lilith finds herself forming an alliance with a group of eccentric outcasts. This team includes Roland (Kevin Hart), a battle-hardened mercenary; Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a wild pre-teen demolition expert; Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tina’s imposing guardian; Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), a scientist with more than a few quirks; and Claptrap (Jack Black), a robot with a sharp tongue.

As this motley crew embarks on their quest, they face off against alien creatures and vicious bandits, uncovering Pandora’s darkest secrets along the way. But as the stakes of their mission escalate, they find themselves fighting for something greater than the fate of the universe—they’re fighting for each other. With its roots in one of the most successful video game franchises ever, Borderlands promises a blend of high-octane action, heartfelt moments, and the franchise’s signature humor.

An Unexpected Party of Players

Directed by Eli Roth, with a screenplay by Roth and Joe Crombie, and a story by Roth, the film is a testament to the collaborative spirit of storytelling. Produced by Ari Arad, Avi Arad, and Erik Feig, and executive produced by a team including Tim Miller and Randy Pitchford, Borderlands brings together a dream team both in front of and behind the camera.

Professional Nerd | Amateur Human | Creative/Content Director The best way to describe Kevin Fenix is the kid you never tell what the buttons do in video games so you have a chance to win. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video.
