Avatar: The Last Airbender is officially coming to Roblox! Paramount Game Studios announced today a new battleground-style experience for the Roblox platform due out later this summer and inspired by Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The first official Avatar experience on the platform has been developed by Looty Games, an established Roblox developer studio and veteran of the battlegrounds genre, as part of the Roblox Creator Fund, which helps accelerate projects with innovative gameplay, ambitious visual designs, and creative ideas unlike anything else on the platform.

Paramount Game Studios also released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Avatar-inspired battleground experience, which you can view below:
AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER BATTLEGROUND EXPERIENCE COMING TO ROBLOX
With the new Avatar experience, players can utilize the iconic element “bending” of the series for the battlegrounds genre. Also, fans will be able to create their own bender, master their element, and compete in the Avatarverse. The game’s arena environment will be fast-paced, frenetic, and full of intense energy. With the bending techniques, players will be able to bend water, earth, fire, and air and execute moves rooted in traditional martial arts.
Speaking on the announcement, Paramount SVP of Games and Emerging Media Doug Rosen stated, “Avatar: The Last Airbender has created a rich universe that generations of fans want to immerse themselves in, and Roblox allows users to have that experience.” He continued, “We’re thrilled to be able to work with Looty Games and Roblox to deepen fans’ connection to the franchise in this virtual world.”
The new reveal comes as the franchise is undergoing a nice revival as of late. The live-action television adaptation of the iconic animated series recently hit Netflix. The show was also quickly renewed for two additional seasons. Also, the original animated series has a new theatrical feature in the works that’s due out later next year. The film is being worked on by original series co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, who are writing and producing the project. Lauren Montgomery directs it, and it will hit theaters in October 2025.
The Last Airbender battleground experience will launch on Roblox later this summer. It does not yet have an official release date or title. More details on the game experience will be revealed in the coming months.
