The show is described as a “six-episode dark comedy” project centering on Segura. The comedian also serves as the show’s Narrator, and it will take us through a series of vignettes in each episode. Segura’s twisted comedic sensibility of Tom’s standup is the core DNA of this series, and every story will unfold in a hilariously disturbing way that only Segura can imagine.

TOM SEGURA LANDS ORIGINAL SERIES AT NETFLIX

The upcoming series will be written by Jeremy Konner, who serves as Head Writer. His past credits include Drunk History, Another Period, and Waffles & Mochi. Netflix acquired the show based on a pilot Tom fully produced and wrote. Rami Hachach directed the pilot. The show will be produced by Segura and Ryan Holl through YMH Studios.

It’s not surprising that the popular comedian is finally getting a new series. He recently started his Come Together tour in Honolulu, Hawaii off the heels of his I’m Coming Everywhere World where he performed over 300 shows.

Your Mom’s House Studios also produces his hit podcasts, Your Mom’s House, which he co-hosts along with his wife, comedian Christina Pzsitzky, and 2 Bears 1 Cave, which he co-hosts with Bert Kreischer, and their podcasts reach over 22 million people. YMH Studios also created successful livestream podcast events as a result of the pandemic.
