THE GANG IS BACK FOR MORE MISADVENTURES IN SEASON 12 OF FUTURAMA

You just can’t keep the Planet Express crew down. Futurama was revived to great critical acclaim with a new season starting last year on Hulu. The hit animated show, which has survived multiple cancelations, comes from creator Matt Groening, best known as the creator of The Simpsons, and David X. Cohen.

In the new season, the Planet Express crew takes part in some mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true five-million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. There will also be a new chapter in Fry and Leela’s fateful-time-twisted romance.

Hopefully, nothing bad happens with the Fry and Leela romance. Season 11 took a refreshing change of pace by opting not to reset Fry and Leela’s relationship when time was reset in the season premiere, “The Impossible Stream.” If the show goes through another on-again, off-again cycle for Fry and Leela’s romance, that will be very frustrating.
