Good news for fans of Hulu’s Solar Opposites! The Solar Opposites are getting a sixth season! The hit animated series was showcased during its panel today (July 26) at the San Diego Comic-Con. During the panel, series star Dan Stevens also announced via a pre-recorded video that the hit adult animated series has been renewed for a sixth season!

Additionally, the panel showcased Season 5, which will be debuting next month on Hulu. All 11 episodes of the new season will be released at launch, and a Halloween special is also in the works, set to debut later this year. SOLAR OPPOSITES CONFIRMED FOR SEASON 6
In Season 5, the team of four aliens is back: Korvo (Dan Stevens), Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone), Terry (Thomas Middleitch), and Jesse (Mary Mack). The team is split on whether Earth is awful or awesome, Terry and Jesse love TV, junk food, and fun stuff. However, Korvo and Yumyulack only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty.
During Season 5, with the alien mission partners Terry and Korvo now married, the team is focused on family values. It looks like it will be another fun and irreverent season of alien mayhem.
Solar Opposites is an incredibly underrated show, and it’s great to see that the adventures of the irreverent, unlikely team of aliens will continue. Hopefully, this means there will be more subplots involving The Wall and The Silver Cops.

The series is executive-produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. It’s produced by 20th Television Animation. All 11 episodes of Season 5 will debut on Hulu on August 12. The previous four seasons and holiday specials are available now on the streamer.
