Warner Bros. Games officially revealed the debut gameplay trailer for the upcoming video game, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. The new “Welcome Students” trailer offers gamers a first look at the fast-paced gameplay experience of the magical sport of Quidditch.
The new gameplay trailer highlights the game’s single-player Career Mode and Online Competitive mode. It also reveals a sneak peek at the character creator, and some of the iconic playable characters, including Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy.

Also showcased in the new trailer is a glimpse of the Quidditch World Cup Stadium, including some of the epic magical arenas set in iconic wizarding world locations. You can check out that newly revealed gameplay trailer below:

WB Games also announced that the game is available to pre-order in Digital Standard Edition and the Digital and Digital Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The Digital Standard edition will be priced at $29.99. The Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions will be available with an SRP of $39.99. The game is currently in the works as a multi-platform release.
According to WB Games, there are “no plans for microtransactions in the game at this time.” Hopefully, it stays that way. Players who pre-order the game will receive the Firebolt Supreme Boom Skin. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, along with the Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor House Packs and 2,000 gold to spend in-game. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions drops on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Xeries X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC on September 3 in both its Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Physical Deluxe Edition will hit PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One on November 8. A Nintendo Switch version is in the works for a holiday season release. Players should check with their preferred retailers for pre-order availability for the Physical Deluxe Editions.

Also, the standard edition of the game will be available at no extra charge to all PlayStation Plus members from September 3 to September 30. The Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin will also be available as a redeemable pack, available during this time for PlayStation Plus members. PlayStation Plus members who download the game during this window will continue to have access to the game for as long as they remain a member of the service.
