A number of rumors are circulating following WWE’s massive lay off this past week. The most unusual coming by way of former tag team champions, The Revival.

On Saturday, Twitter user @Casshooole tweeted a mock-up of the duo dressed in what appears to be some type of comedic babyface get up.

How Did The Revival Respond?

As the reactions poured in from fans, Cash Wheeler (formerly known as Dash Wilder) added his own reaction to the photo. “No Comment.”

Given Wheeler’s reaction, it’s possible this was a real idea and their separation wasn’t part of the general lay-off. Given WWE’s history of losing talent after offering unsavory storylines and characters. The most recent example being AEW’s Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose). During an appearance on Chris Jericho’s podcast last May, Moxley revealed his departure was connected to ridiculous suggestions made to him about his character.

Wheeler and Dax Harwood (formerly Scott Dawson) do not have a non-compete clause and are free to pursue new opportunities. The duo, along with 17 other wrestlers and talent were released on Wednesday.

Would you like to see The Revival pop up together again in another avenue, or should the duo hang it up after the latest actions by the WWE?
