SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE Live-Action TV Spot Features Ron Funches & Will Arnett Standing Strong Against DC’s Mightiest

Will Arnet and Ron Funches star in a new live-action TV spot for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has been the talk of the town lately, with Rocksteady’s attempt at a live-service video game not getting quite the reception that the developer hoped for. However, their new TV spot hopes to add some laughs to the game’s general discussion, enlisting DC veteran Will Arnett and a few friends to bring much-needed fun ahead of the game’s official launch.

The new TV spot also features an appearance by Harley Quinn animated series co-star Ron Funches, who voices King Shark in the show (AEW star Samoa Joe voices King Shark in the game). You can check out that new live-action TV spot below:

Just when you thought Will Arnett was done with DC, the beloved LEGO Batman actor returns for one more run, this time as the villain. In the commercial, Arnett switches out his cape and cowl for Deadshot’s jetpack, iconic wrist guns, and a very big sniper rifle, mimicking the character’s in-game arsenal.

Although he doesn’t look like your average villain (the TV spot takes the time to poke fun at his dad-bod), Arnett leads this new version of the Suicide Squad to kill the Justice League. Unfortunately, Superman seems to get the better of him first, but at least he can respawn, right?

Arnett’s Deadshot is joined by ragtag versions of the rest of the Suicide Squad, including “gender-bent” iterations of Killer Shark and Captain Boomerang, proving that anyone can wield the villains’ weapons in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. And, of course, comedian Run Funches pulls absolutely zero punches as an unorthodox Harley Quinn, complete with the beloved character’s video-game outfit, iconic baseball bat, and blue and red hairstyle.
