As the name suggests, Star Wars Outlaws features a robust story focusing on the criminal underbelly of the Star Wars universe. Players will control Kay Vess, an underworld scoundrel, as she embarks on one of the biggest heists the galaxy has ever seen. What’s tying Kay down is unclear, but this job is her ticket to freedom, so the stakes have never been higher.
The trailer shows Kay navigating the shady criminal world, interacting with syndicates like the Zerek Besh, led by the mysterious and powerful Sliro, and the newly introduced Ashiga Clan. Familiar faces include the Hutt Cartel, Pyke Syndicate, and Crimson Dawn. According to Ubisoft’s developer breakdown, your reputation with the criminal organizations will change Star Wars Outlaws, gaining access to new vendors, jobs, and locations as you grow.
