Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger: 6th Hero To Debut This Week

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger debuts new additions including new Additional Hero, BunViolet and partner, Byun Diesel.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger has featured many fantastic episodes and will now debut BunViolet as the 6th hero of the series. The 48th Sentai has released 15 episodes for the series, with Go-Onger even featuring as an episode crossover. Many surprises have been teased and shared online, including some new additions that have already been introduced. Here is the next set of amazing content fans could expect from the latest series.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger currently consists of 5 heroes that are centered around BunRed and Bundorio. Bundorio was revealed to be an alien racer, who can also become the Boonboom Trailer and Boonboomger Robo. BunBlue and BunPink made up the trio until BunBlack and BunOrange joined the team. There are currently 2 sets of arsenals in the series, with the Boonboom Cars creating new formations in pairs. There are currently 5 active pairs, with Boonboomger Robo Monster being the latest formation.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger: BunViolet and ByunDiesel Rev Up Lap 2

As Boonboomger runs through the 2nd Lap of the series, BunViolet and Byun Diesel will debut in Episode 16 of the 48th Sentai. The new purple Additional Hero duo will feature the combination of Formula 1 with Gaming, including a Boonboom Controller for the Changer. Much like Bundorio, Byun Diesel will be able to enlarge and become the Byunbuym Mach, a Formula-style, open-wheel Boonboom Car. He will also transform into the Byunbyum Mach Robo, which features a Robo head hidden under Byun Diesel’s helmet. Both also have a bow-based weapon, with BunViolet using a bow mode for his Boonboom Controller and the Robo featuring a Crossbow-class weapon. The debut of the new Robo has yet to be announced but both characters will make this debut this Sunday, with toys already revealing both forms.

Current Active and Reoccurring Cast as of Boonboomger Episode 15:

  • Haruhi Luchi as Taiya Handou/ Bunred
  • Yuki Hayama as Ishiro Meita/ BunBlue
  • Miu Suzuki as Mira Shifuto/ BunPink
  • Ryu Saito as Jou Akuse/ BunBlack
  • Satoru Soma as Genba Bureki/ BunOrange
  • Rica Matsumoto as the voice of Bundorio Bunderas
  • Hashiyasume Atsuko as Shirabe Saibu
  • Junichi Suwabe as the voice of the Sanseaters’ Dekotrade
  • Nana Mizuki as the voice of Sanseaters’ Itasha
  • Sumire Morohoshi as the voice of Sanseaters’ Yaiyai Yarucar
  • Kujira as the voice of Hashiryan’s Modification Captain Cannonborg

BunViolet is a perfect new addition that keeps to the car theme that Boonboomger resonates with. It’s fantastic that this series is only debuting road-type vehicles like Carranger, instead of a mash-up of vehicles like Go-Onger and Kirameiger. It’s also great we get another Forumla-type mecha as the last featured in Kaizou Sentai Gokaiger with Engine Machalcon. The game and F1 mix also work like a perfect reference to Esports, with F1 simulators making their debut. It will be exciting to see this Sentai 6th Ranger debut this Sunday.

Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
