Bandai Namco UK to Host Biggest Ever UK Exhibition at MCM x EGX

ReedPop reveals MCM x EGX collaboration to bring largest Bandai Namco event for the UK

MCM Comic Con London x EGX has been revealed to be the home to the biggest exhibition for Bandai Namco UK. The booth hosted in the UK during this year’s event will feature the latest releases for gamers to try out. This includes great titles including DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO!, Little Nightmares III, and even SWORD ART ONLINE: Fractured Daydream. The event will allow for fans to try out the latest titles and compete, or spectate, in fantastic gaming events hosted at the con.

MCM Comic Con is held frequently in the UK as the best destination for gamers and geek pop culture fans in London and Birmingham. The London event is held in May and October, providing a fantastic congregation of hype for comic books, video games, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, and popular media. Bandai Namco UK often features a booth at the event, providing a fantastic way to showcase the latest releases to the UK gaming community.  

Bandai Namco UK and MCM x EGX to Host Biggest Exhibition for the UK With First Major TEKKEN 8 Tournament for Region 

ReedPop has today announced that MCM x EGX will be home to Bandai Namco UK’s biggest-ever exhibition on its homeland. This will be an invaluable opportunity for UK gamers to try out multiple Bandai Namco titles, compete in or spectate a TEKKEN 8 Major, and more, all included in MCM x EGX tickets. 

UK Fans will have the chance to play six titles on the Bandai Namco booth at MCM x EGX this month. These titles will include titles from both Bandai Namco and partner Outright Games: DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO!, Unknown 9: Awakening, Little Nightmares III, SWORD ART ONLINE: Fractured Daydream, Spongebob Squarepants™: The Patrick Star Game, and The Grinch: Christmas Adventures. 

MCM x EGX will also host the UK’s first TEKKEN 8 Major. As the tournament has proven to be so highly anticipated, the prize pool has been increased from £5,000 to £6,000, giving competitors even more to fight for. Taking place as part of the wider ongoing European Cup the UK major will be held at the EGX Arena on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of October. Bandai Namco fans are encouraged to look out for future announcements, as there will be other activities at MCM x EGX from Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bandai Toys & Hobby and Bandai Namco Amusement revealed in the coming weeks. 

EGX will take place alongside MCM Comic Con at ExCeL London from the 25th to the 27th of October and will be the first time both events come together under one roof. The show will offer guests the chance to play the latest games, attend fascinating panels from top developers, and get their foot in the door of the gaming industry at the EGX Career Fair. 

This is a massive event that will call out gamers throughout the UK, with a fantastic range of new titles to check out. Amazingly, TEKKEN 8 will be holding its first Major tournament in the UK, with teasers for more to come. It would be amazing to see more gaming events like these for the UK for all future events starting next year. There is a fantastic selection of releases from Bandai Namco and it will be exciting to see the booth this year with the UK and Europe communities.
