Production for the Disney+ original series, Star Wars Andor, has wrapped according to a report from Star Wars news site, Bespin Bulletin.
Filming began all the way back in November and presumably due to various setbacks related to the COVID-19 pandemic filming is just now concluding 8 months later.
This comes after Carl Weathers shared that production for the third season of The Mandalorian would pick up in September of this year.
The only thing that we really know about the project is that it is a prequel to 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it follows Diego Luna’s character Cassian Andor.
There is yet to be an official trailer revealed for the series, however, there was a short sizzle reel released back in December that gave fans a first look at the series.
Star Wars Andor Synopsis
Set five years before the events of Rogue One (2016), the series follows rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion.
Star Wars Andor stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, with Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Robert Emms cast in undisclosed roles.
