Derek Connolly has been tasked with penning the script Paramount’s untitled G.I. Joe-Transformers crossover film.
The live-action crossover unites Hasbro’s biggest heroes on the big screen. For the first time ever, outsides of comics, fans will see the Joes join forces with The Autobots to face off against the deadly alliance between COBRA and the Decepticons in the untitled G.I. Joe-Transformers crossover.
The G.I. Joe-Transformers Movie No One Saw Coming
Until Transformers: Rise of The Beasts, no fan considered the possibility of these distinct franchise crossing over in a live-capacity. Now, the seed has been planted and the tree continues to grow as development progresses.

The movie follows the events of last year’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which ended with Anthony Ramos’ Noah or “Sonic”, getting quite the generous job offer from the Joes with healthcare for his ailing little brother.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy are producing. Steven Spielberg and Hasbro Entertainment will executive produce.
Other than Chris Hemsworth who is in talks to star, the cast has not been set yet, though we can expect to see Antony Ramos and Peter Cullen reprise their roles as Noah Diaz and Optimus Prime respectively.

Connolly is best known for the his award-winning movie Safety Not Guaranteed, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Kong: Skull Island, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and 2019’s Pikachu.
