The Fast and Furious franchise is a soap opera on steroids and it looks like they aren’t changing the formula. Director Justin Lin (Fast and Furious 6) is also back in the driver’s seat after taking a couple of installments off. While Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and his crew of daredevils are continuing to live up to the franchise’s reputation of breathtaking car stunts, that hold absolutely no regard for physics or personal safety. Whether they are driving across a falling rope bridge. or jumping across chasms with their car tethered to a mountain, the mission statement is clear. Whatever goes…as long as it’s balls to the wall action and thrills.
