Mark Ruffalo is known for letting out secrets when it comes to things at Marvel.
Recently, Ruffalo lived up to this reputation when at a panel for the C2E2 event in Chicago. While at the panel, the actor confirmed that he is “in talks” to appear in the new She-Hulk series coming to Disney+ sometime in 2021.
Mark Ruffalo previously mentioned on The Graham Norton Show that he didn’t know what the future of the Hulk would be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since then things seem to have changed as the actor is now saying “preliminary talks” are happening for him to appear in the series.
With She-Hulk expected to start production this summer, it’s expected that casting announcements shouldn’t take too much longer. There is currently no word on who will be playing the titular character of She-Hulk, but we have recently reported that Marvel is looking for an Alison Brie-type to play the character. The news of Ruffalo’s possible return also reinforces The Illuminerdi’s previous exclusive regarding Jennifer Walter’s origin.

It is expected that after her debut in She-Hulk, Jennifer Walters will show up in other Marvel movies and TV shows as a part of Marvel’s plan to fully connect everything in the MCU including the TV shows. Kevin Feige confirmed this a while back on THR’s Awards Chatter podcast, when he said the following:
“Some characters we’ve announced like She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight you will meet for the first time on a Disney+ show and then they’ll go into the movies but the MCU will now go back and forth.”
