The Terminator and Aliens star Michael Biehn is the recent addition to The Mandalorian‘s growing cast, according to Making Star Wars.

This is coming after the announcement that Rosario Dawson would be joining the cast as the popular The Clone Wars and Rebels character, Ahsoka Tano. Making Star Wars states that Biehn will be playing a bounty hunter from The Mandalorian’s past.

Who Is Michael Biehn?

Michael Biehn is most known for his roles in The Terminator and Aliens, playing Sgt. Kyle Reese and Cpl. Dwayne Hicks respectively. Some of his other notable film appearances include The Fan, Navy SEALs, Tombstone, The Rock, Megiddo: The Omega Code 2, and Planet Terror.

It will be interesting to see how the appearance of a mysterious bounty hunter from Mando’s past could affect his current mission with The Child. It has not yet been specified whether or not the bounty hunter is a Mandalorian. If he is, it’s possible that Biehn could be playing one of the bounty hunters that saved Dyn Jarren on Mandalore all those years ago. This is, of course, all speculation.

The site also states that Bill Burr will be returning this season alongside Carl Weathers and Gina Carano, as reported by /Film.

The first season of The Mandalorian was met with critical acclaim and was a huge success for Disney+. The season followed The Mandalorian protecting a Yoda-like creature known as The Child from remnants of the empire trying to get their hands on him.

The new season will likely continue the adventures Dyn Jarren, AKA The Mandalorian, played by Pedro Pascal and The Child (Baby Yoda) as Jarren attempts to discover the origins of this mysterious creature. The season will also explain the major cliffhanger left at the end of season one where Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon reveals his possession of the darksaber.
