The Arrow series finale ended off with a huge tease when David Ramsey’s character John Diggle was shown receiving what seemed to be a Green Lantern ring, which had been teased throughout the series. Ramsey has now teased the fans even further with his latest Instagram post!

While fans may be put off by the box only containing a green cube, Ramsey does caption the photo with the words “my power.” This implies that what’s in the green box is still the ring. So it’s safe to assume that the cube was simply a prop for the cameras.
David Ramsey Joining Superman & Lois
With John Diggle making the move to Metropolis in the season finale, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Ramsey could be appearing as a recurring role in the Superman & Lois series.
Considering that Green Lantern and Superman have comparable power levels compared to some of the other super heroes out there, it makes since that Superman & Lois could further explore John Diggle becoming the Green Lantern.

It is also possible (however in my opinion not as likely) that we could see David Ramsey suit up as Green Lantern in the upcoming Green Lantern series coming to HBO Max.
I don’t think this is as likely because it’s clear that Warner Bros. is prepping Green Lantern to be a higher budget series than the other Arrowverse shows. This makes it hard for me to believe that these could be connected as the style and tone would presumably clash. However, anything is possible.
