Bat In The Sun’s Legend of the White Dragon just got a few more Power Rangers connections, as The Illuminerdi can report that original cast member Catherine Sutherland and Jason David Frank’s daughter Jenna will be joining the cast. Below is the synopsis.
“In the Aftermath, the city was left decimated. A past reminder of the great battle and fall of heroes. The heroes were blamed, stripped of their titles, and hunted. But as evil once again threatens to return they must rise from the ashes with the power of the White Dragon.”

No word yet on who Catherine Sutherland and Jenna Frank will be playing, but it’s safe to bet that the latter will be reprising her real-life role as Frank’s kin. Meanwhile, Sutherland played Katherine Hillard in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, and Power Rangers Turbo – so she’s had plenty of experience in toku-style settings and has built a rapport with other members of the 90s cast.
Jenna Frank And Catherine Sutherland Express Their Excitement
When The Illuminerdi reached out to the actresses for comment, they both shared a sense of respect for fans of Power Rangers and joy over the possibilities of Legend of the White Dragon. As Catherine Sutherland put it:
“I’m excited to be a part of bringing a new universe to our fans.”
Jenna Frank enthusiastically agreed, adding that:
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this and can’t wait to see the outcome.”
We can’t wait to see the outcome either, as it will surely be coming sooner rather than later now that the Kickstarter has been fully funded. Fans eager for more can check out the original teaser trailer for Legend of The White Dragon below.
