The cast of Spider-Man 3 has just added a bunch of familiar faces to the upcoming sequel.
Spider-Men UNITE! With the news of Alfred Molina returning as Doc Ock and Jamie Foxx as Electro, both of the original superheroes that originally took them on is set to appear now as well.
They Are All Back For Spider-Man 3!
Now Collider’s Jeff Sneider has reported that Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield will be returning to his red and blues as Spider-Man. Talks are also happening for Tobey Maguire to come back as Raimi’s Spider-Man as well.
The addition of these two heroes to the untitled Spider-Man 3 is not the only news. While not yet confirmed, we could be seeing the love interest of both Spideys coming back to the big screen again. Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone are expected to return as Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy respectively. This casting news points to a live-action multiverse or spider-verse being a crucial element of Spider-Man 3. The three series from Sam Raimi, Marc Webb and Jon Watts, are all set to interact in some way or another.

This is bound to have fans of the MCU dancing in the streets as we now can imagine how these renditions of beloved characters will bond and share their new adventure together. No official word has been released on how the characters will come together, but expect Marvel and Sony to make sure it’s an exciting, well-thought out plan. With so many characters, it might sound like it’s a bit much for the story to bear, but with Watts and Feige at the helm, there is no doubt this movie will have an unexpectedly fantastic storyline.
