Mexico’s own Black Taurus makes his appearance in IMPACT Wrestling and is revealed as the newest member of Decay.

Taurus returned to IMPACT Wrestling this Tuesday and was revealed to be teaming up with Rosemary and Crazzy Steve and is the newest member of their faction, Decay. He faced Kaleb with a K and destroyed him in what became a squash match.

This isn’t the first time Black Taurus has had his hooves or feet in an IMPACT ring. In 2019 because IMPACT had a partnership with AAA he wrestled in IMPACT while they were taping in Mexico City. That night saw Taurus teaming up with, in my opinion, the two best luchadores in the world, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr, to take on LAX with Daga.

Is IMPACT Just A Pit Stop For Black Taurus?

It is not clear or known if Black Taurus will stay with IMPACT Wrestling for a long-term deal. This Saturday is IMPACT No Surrender, so many think Taurus will only stay for the event and perhaps one more taping before he returns to his labyrinth in Mexico or goes to wrestle elsewhere. Only time will tell if Taurus sticks around. I hope he does because IMPACT isn’t exactly stacked with talent, but some of the ex-WWE people are pretty good.

Taurus has been wrestling in Mexico for over a decade now and certainly has an unique look. Someone could easily ask me in a year if I remember the wrestler who looked like a minotaur and I’d remember. Well first I would think of Mantaur and then once I was corrected I would remember Taurus. It’s hard to forget either of those two wrestlers.

Showing America His Fury

In the last few years Taurus has been making a name for himself in the United States. His name gained some notoriety by working with IMPACT obviously, but also smaller promotions like MLW and indies like GCW and PWG. The six-man tag match he was in for PWG was supposed to be one of the best six-man tags in recent history.

If you are not particularly familiar with Taurus like myself then be sure to check out his match this Saturday at IMPACT No Surrender. He is teaming up with his Decay faction members, Rosemary and Crazzy Steve, to face Tenille Dashwood formerly known as Emma in WWE and  XXXL.

What do you think the best Black Taurus match is for someone unfamiliar with him? Do you hope he stays with IMPACT? Or do you think he should go to AEW and wrestle The Lucha Brothers? Or do you think WWE would be a better fit for him? Please let me know what you think over on Twitter, because I’ve literally never heard of Black Taurus.
