Paramount Pictures has decided that the best things come to those who wait even longer.
The company has announced that ten movies on its schedule will be pushed back between now and 2023. With the re-opening of movie theaters still uncertain in the fact of a slow vaccine rollout, and the lucrative power of streaming still not quite up to par, this, makes sense.

Paramount Pictures For Those Who Wait
Three of the Paramount movies being pushed back will star Tom Cruise in them. The first one is the sequel to Cruise’s classic, called Top Gun: Maverick. The movie was set to come out in July, kicking off the reopened summer movies is now set for November 19, 2021. Mission Impossible 7 which was set on the date that Top Gun: Maverick is taking now, will be pushed to May of 2022 and its follow up Mission Impossible 8 will come out now on July 7th 2023.
The G.I Joe movie Snake Eyes, starring Henry Golding, is set to be the only film from Paramount to be released in 2021, it was set to premiere in October but will move to July 23rd instead. More movies from the company have been taken off the calendar such as a biography film on musical group The Bee Gees which was set for November 2022 and the next star trek film on June 2023. Other movies in the company’s reel have been shifted around, here is the full list of the movies being changed so far.
SNAKE EYES, previously scheduled for October 22, 2021, is now set to open July 23, 2021 (wide).
JACKASS, previously scheduled for September 3, 2021, is now set to open October 22, 2021 (wide).
TOP GUN MAVERICK, previously scheduled for July 2, 2021, is now set to open November 19, 2021 (wide).
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7, previously scheduled for November 19, 2021, is now set to open May 27, 2022 (wide).
UNTITLED BEE GEES is announced for November 4, 2022 (wide).
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, previously scheduled for May 27, 2022, is now set to open March 3, 2023 (wide).
UNTITLED STAR TREK is announced for June 9, 2023 (wide).
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 8, previously scheduled for November 4, 2022, is now set to open July 7, 2023 (wide).
THE SHRINKING OF TREEHORN is announced for November 10, 2023 (wide).
UNTITLED RYAN REYNOLDS/JOHN KRASINSKI FILM is announced for November 17, 2023 (wide)
