Eternals is perhaps the most questionable of all Marvel Studios films to date. With 48% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a B on CinemaScore, it’s the lowest Marvel Studios project on Rotten Tomatoes, and one of the lowest on CinemaScore. Though fans seem to like it more than critics, the movie is a split for both: some love it, some hate it. It’s a controversial film, with cinematography praised and story knocked, but perhaps that’s what makes it so special. It’s one of the most unique films in the entire universe. And if it’s controversial, then perhaps that’s what the film needs.
The film released on November 5, 2021 after having its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre on October 18, 2021. When it premiered, the film had its fair share of challenges. First off, the film was spoiled by a Variety critic on Twitter. That disaster caused an outburst on social media, and other journalists felt that if they had done such a thing, Disney would have blacklisted them from the media list.

When the film released, all that was forgotten, because the film received such negative word of mouth from critics. But for fans who didn’t venture to the theater and want to know what all the fuss is about, now’s your chance to see Eternals, as it’s streaming on Disney+.
