Some of the voices were probably recognizable in the trailer, but what definitely rang a bell was Kurt Farquhar’s composition. Farquhar wrote and composed the original “The Proud Family” theme song and returns as series songwriter and composer for The Proud Family: Loud and Prouder. With the new series, he reimagined a contemporary version of the theme song while still preserving the lyrics and melody. The new version is performed by rising R&B star Joyce Wrice. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video.
