The Walking Dead continues to attach names to its upcoming spin-off, called Tales of the Walking Dead.
The six-episode series added Olivia Munn (The Newsroom, X-Men: Apocalypse), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon & The Winter Soldier), Loan Chabanol (Fading Gigolo), Embeth Davidtz (Old, Ray Donovan) and Jessie T. Usher (Shaft, The Boys) to its cast. They will join Daniella Pineda, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Poppy Liu, Anthony Edwards, and Jillian Bell.

Scott Gimple, the executive producer for this series, revealed to Variety what fans should expect of this new spin-off: “Olivia, Danny, Loan, Embeth, and Jessie are the latest massive talents that will bring new worlds of TWD to life with big, daring, different, emotional, shocking, scary, and crazy stories. We’re excited for them to come walk with us.”
FIVE NEW ACTORS JOIN TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD
Tales of the Walking Dead will join the roster of the TWD universe – along with Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and the series that started it all, The Walking Dead itself. The main series of this ever-expanding universe is on its eleventh and final season, which will start airing tonight (2/20) on AMC. You can catch the episodes a week early with AMC Plus.
The final season of The Walking Dead is an extended one with twenty-four episodes. If its anything like the comics, it’ll close out the Rick Grimes’ arc and show us how these characters survive the apocalypse – if they do indeed find a cure. I sincerely hope they bring Andrew Lincoln back to show us what has happened to the lead after all this time.
