Antony Starr, The Boys’ Homelander, was arrested and given a suspended prison sentence after an altercation that took place in Spain.
The actor got served a 12 month sentence for physically assaulting a chef in a pub. According to a report by The Daily Mail, Starr, who had a bit too much to drink, got into a fist fight with Bathuel Araujo,21, in a Costa Blanca pub. The evil superhero of Amazon’s The Boys is currently in Spain working on a movie with Guy Ritchie. Apart from the 12-month suspended prison sentence, Starr was ordered to pay over £4,000 to the victim as compensation.

The compensation was ordered by the court as a way of escaping his jail sentence. The actor has 72 hours to pay the victim. Starr appeared in court using a hoodie and a face mask, although masks are no longer mandated outdoors in Spain. Antony left the court by Taxi and did not address the incident. Chef Bathuel Araujo reported being punched twice before having a glass smashed on the left side of his face, leaving a cut above his eyebrow. The 21-year-old was taken to the hospital and had four stitches placed on his wound.
THE BOYS’ STARR SPENDS TWO NIGHTS IN PRISON
A court official stated “A speedy trial ended up taking place and Alicante Court of Investigation Number Nine, acting as a duty court, sentenced the arrested man to 12 months in prison and the payment of a fine of £4,141 for a crime of wounding.’The detainee’s state of drunkenness was taken into account as an extenuating factor. The sentence was the result of an agreement between the state prosecution service and the man who was subsequently convicted. His prison sentence is being suspended on the condition that he doesn’t commit another crime in two years and pays the compensation in the next 72 hours.’
Araujo stated that Starr was “very drunk” at the time of the incident. The actor reacted poorly after a friend of Araujo’s asked Starr’s friend to calm him down because “he was being a nuisance”. Araujo, a Venezuelan-born chef, claimed that Starr told him to “F**k off” and got struck when he tried to push Starr out of the bar. Araujo responded by pushing him back.
The chef also stated that he became dizzy after Starr struck him with his fists, which was followed by the hit with the glass. After being kicked out by the bar, Starr continued to threaten Araujo by telling him ‘You don’t know who you’ve messed with, you don’t know who I am and what you’ve done. You’ve committed the mistake of your life and I’m going to look for you. I want to kill you.’
The police officers stated that The Boys actor was arrested on March 2nd and taken to a nearby station in which he spent the night in. Starr spent a total of two nights in the station which was followed by the court appearance. Guy Ritchie’s latest movie in currently being shot in Spain and it is described as “an action-thriller” starring Jake Gyllenhall as a sergeant on his last tour in Afghanistan. The cast also includes Danish actor Dar Salim from Game of Thrones.
