Do you know what is a spider’s favorite things to do? Surf the web…! Ermm… alright then. Now that I got that terrible dad joke out of the way, I bring you some good news.
You can watch the first ten minutes of Spider-Man: No Way Home right now! Yes, all the way till Charlie Cox’s cameo as the “really good lawyer” Matt Murdock. The story picks up directly after the end of the previous movie when Mysterio reveals Spider-Man’s identity to the entire world. Desperate, Peter seeks out the help of Doctor Strange. What was supposed to be a simple helping hand, ended up becoming a multi-verse disaster. Now Peter Parker will have to go above and beyond to finally understand that with great power comes great responsibility.
It is no secret that the number 6 highest-grossing movie of all-time, Spider-Man: No Way Home, swung in at full force. Arguably the best Marvel movie to date, No Way Home proved that Spider-Man continues to be one of the world’s favorite superheroes. The movie had one of the biggest opening weekends during a worldwide pandemic. I truly believe this movie would’ve done a lot better if there was no such thing as COVID-19.
When the movie was released, Holland spoke about the feeling of closure he felt during shooting “There definitely was a sense for me, as an actor, that this was the last time that I could potentially don the suit,” Holland said, “so a lot of that emotion came from the act of saying goodbye, which is one of the biggest themes throughout this film.”

Holland also spoke about how lucky he felt to be a part of it “This film also felt like a celebration of three generations of cinema,” he said. “So, at times, we would be getting into these scenes that were incredibly emotional. They’re very taxing, and I was so happy to be there, that I had to go at it a different way and kind of go, ‘wow, look at my life. Look what’s happened to me.'”

WHAT NOW?
I know most of us have watched the movie but… be careful: spoilers ahead.
At the end of the movie, we see Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is the most accurate version of the character yet: broke, friendless, and in questionable living conditions. A lot of fans, myself included, wondered when we would get to see Tom’s version of Peter at the hand of personal loss. Not only did we see that but got much more. He lost everything.
Rumors of a sequel have already started to pop up everywhere. The latest is Steven Yeun as Mr. Negative, a villain with a double personality. Mr. Negative can release pent-up energy, has super strength, reflexes, and control people with his “corrupted” influence. Bringing a beloved actor such as Steven Yeun would be a great way to introduce this newer villain to the MCU and have people care about it enough to go watch it in theaters.
I can’t wait to finally be able to own Spider-Man: No Way Home once it comes out. It is my favorite Spider-Man movie and one of my top favorite MCU movies. What are your favorite scenes?
