UNIQLO to Release Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Collab on April 7th in U.S.

UNIQLO announces a collab with Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

To commemorate the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film premiering in North American theaters, apparel from UNIQLO based on the movie is also set to launch.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be making its North American film premiere debut tomorrow, Friday, March 18. When the movie was released in Japan last December, it received positive from critics and became a box office success. Based on the popular manga series created by Gege Akutami, the story follows a cursed high school student named Yuta Okkotsu. Okkotsu, haunted by the cursed spirit of his childhood friend Rika Orimoto attends Jujutsu High School.

In the hopes of attending Jujutsu High School, Okkotsu hopes to control Rika or exorcise his curse from her. The original manga series and film are prequels for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. To help celebrate the film’s premiere in North America, global apparel retailer UNIQLO will launch clothing merch based on Jujutsu Kaisen 0

UNIQLO is a casual wear manufacturer and retailer based in Japan. The retailer brand is known for manufacturing shirts based on authentic pop culture and art graphics apparel. The new UNIQLO Jujutsu Kaisen 0 collection will feature graphic art and designs from the film’s main characters. The featured Jujutsu Kaisen 0 collection will be UNIQLO shirts or UTs.

One unique UT design depicts a scene of Okkotsu and his childhood friend Rika and highlights the ring she gave him before her tragic death. The ring is a momento that Okkotsu keeps remembering and honoring their relationship. The UT collection also features Sensei Satoru Gojo in a white blindfold, in contrast to the black blindfold he wears in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series.

The collection includes a UT shirt featuring the film’s main antagonist Suguru Geto. Then finally, a print on the back of a UT shirt features Rika curse, thus cementing the collection as a must-have for fans of Jujutsu Kaisen. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 UNIQLO collection will release on April 7, 2022.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0/UNIQLO Collection Official Press Release

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO will release a UT collaboration collection on Thursday, April 7 in the United States, to commemorate the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 movie, coming to theaters in North America on March 18. JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 follows Yuta Okkotsu, a nervous high school student, who enrolls in the mysterious Tokyo Jujutsu High School under the guidance of Satoru Gojo after being haunted by the curse of his childhood friend.

The film is based on JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 (JUMP COMICS / Shueisha), a prequel manga to the smash hit supernatural adventure series from Gege Akutami. UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts) offer an array of authentic pop culture and art graphics from around the world that allow the wearer to express their individuality. This collection of portrayals of key characters in the film is exclusive to UT.

Like the film, the collection highlights the experiences of characters prior to the television anime series version of JUJUTSU KAISEN. One UT design depicts protagonist Yuta Okkotsu in a poignant scene with childhood friend Rika Orimoto and highlights a ring that he keeps as a memento of their relationship. The collection also shows Satoru Gojo in a fresh white blindfold, a contrast to the black one he wears in the television series, and Suguru Geto, the film’s greatest antagonist. A print on the back of another design features Rika’s curse, cementing the collection as a must-have for fans of the film.
