Nothing makes gamers feel better than when a game we love listens to our feedback and follows through. That’s why it’s exciting Atari has announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch is getting an expansion.

Adding 20 acres to all parks is exactly what the park managers have been asking for. Think of it as a giant thank you to the 32 million players as the game celebrates its five-year anniversary. This expansion is the largest one players have seen and will expand the parks by four acres each on the East and West while adding large sections of 12 acres on the North. This more than doubles the size of current RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch parks.

It isn’t clear what type of attractions, stores, and restaurants will be available for construction in these new areas. But this news comes after the most recent expansion of themed seasons to 12-per-year, so players can guarantee there is plenty to choose from. Maybe there will even be some IP crossovers.

Check out the short, but exciting, announcement that debuted on YouTube this week.

We’re thrilled to provide and watch our Park Managers’ creativity unfold.”
